Default T / E maxx crawler

thinking of using a T-maxx chassis plate as a start for a linked crawler
any thoughts? suggestions? tell me i'm off my nut.
i was going to to use a radio shack project box to put the rx & esc in for waterproofing. to take care of overheating i was thinking of using a nitro airfilter & tube routed to the box with a cpu fan inside.
how should i mount the cells zipties, or...

i like the idea, but are you going to use full length links? If you are, it's going to be really long! You should also narrow the chassis w/ a dremel or it's going to be really wide.
