Default my new maxx crawler 56k=death

well, i finally got my crawler all built...first day tryin it out i snapped the end off of one of my half shafts...lol...not bad for my first...i had alot of help from tapped-out...he built the chassis ...i still have some work to do...i have a set of moab 40 series tires waiting to be mounted up...gonna order some black axial beadlock wheels, a 2nd 645mg for the rear steer, paint some more stuff and tweak it more....but for now, here are a few pics...

im having bad luck...lol...ive broke 2 of the knuckles that connect the shafts from the axle houseing to the wheel..arg...lol

Why not go with the revo knuckles and axles? Then with those knuckles your tie rod would be up higher and out of the way.

are you gettin alot of torque twist?
because the shocks are laid down quite a bit. it just looks like it would get it bad!

well, i dont have alot of money right now....lol...but my main problem on why i broke them is cuz the ones that broke were the older yokes ( i was using the wrong word..hahahahaha)....i had newer style shafts, which have the bigger ball joint thing...well, newer and older dont mix...i drilled out the old ones to make them fit...those are the 2 that have broke...

yeah, i get alot...but im workin on tweakin the set up...the shocks i have are the proline powerstroke shocks...theyre adjustable, so im making them stiffer as needed to reduce the twist...

oh...and i think i finally found some beadlocks for my crawler...lol.. we'll see tho

well, im gonna try RCcrawler.com again....some updates on my crawler...ditched the rear steer, swapped almost everything out to aluminum, got 4500mah NiMH batteries, and i have a couple other mods im currently working on....but here are some recent pics...

so far i havent found anyplace near by to go crawl other than this dirtpile near my house that has some rocks in it...im gonna try a couple parks that are near by, but im going to carson city for a (Nth) degree mobility customer appreciation run where i might get a chance to try out my crawler...hopefully i can get my new 75 turn motors by then and get my new batteries on there...
