Default stearing links

has anyone put there e-maxx stearing links on-top of the stearing nuckle insted of of its stock position bellow? i did it and it seems to be alot better! there not getting bent as easily especialy when your climbing up a hill and you hit a rock and flip over there more prtected. I wish i did this before because thats eactly what happend i fipped and just kept on fliping down the hill and when it was almost at the bottom of the hill the rear link nailed a rock and was bent to hell!

I did that with my maxx when it was still a basher and your right it does seem to protect them a little more, so I definately did it when i converted it to a crawler!!!

Sounds like a good tip to pass on to others!!!!!
