Post Burt titan motors

Question about motors. I've been running my e-maxx with 2 batteries and 1 Titan motor. I have 9T / 72T gears. The question is about the motors burning up.
I have burt one up and the other is starting to smoke. The 1st one went in about
3-4 runs and the second one started smoking on the 2nd run. Is this normal?

not its not normal because you need 2 motors for 2 batteries..... do the EVX mod i have posted. ditch the crappy Titan motors and pick up a Lathe motor or MM motor and never have that problem again
