| Summit 2-speed transmission
Anyone know if the Summit Trans wil fit in an E-Revo? Thinking about swithing an E-revo to a 2-speed using that kit the Traxxas sells but I can get the summit trans from a friend for cheap. The kit also looks like all plastic gears and was thinking the Summit trans may be better. |

As said the trannies are the same but there are two different 2-speed gearsets. One is the wide ratio which is what the Summit comes with it and has a super low first gear. The second is the close ratio gearset which is similar to the original emaxx trans in that they are both "speed" gears. So while you could put the Summit tranny in an E-revo I'm not sure what the low first gear would be good for without locking hubs.
