So the summit is awesome but has anyone got one as fast as a brushless erevo? If so what setup did you use?

I think that you would be missing the point of the summit by making it go as fast as an e-revo.

MMM 18 T pinion 83t spur and the tires(big joes) ballon so much it jumps down the street and flips over and over again lol. I run 4c 4400 mah 30c batteries. It runs about 43 mph before I loose control. Need some revo tires to find true potential. No matter how you set up a summit it's a badass. Put a SCT body on it and take it to the track and eat up the other drivers. Kinda mean but fun as hell.

All it takes is the same motor as the E-Revo to go that fast. However, it is completly uncontrolable unless you also lower it, use the Progressive 3 rockers, add sway bars, put a lighter body on and use better tires...basically convert it into an E-Revo.

MMM and 2200 will be plenty of speed, you simply need to waterproof the ESC. LIK |

I have a waterproofed Hobby King 150A BL esc, 2650kv motor w/fan heatsink combo on the motor with 17t pinion 68t spur, this thing is just stupid fast in my opinion and I am extremely happy with it overall for the $90 I spent on the set. Running 4s 5000 packs. Now if I can just keep the diffs from grenading every few months. |

aluminum diff cups help. my faster one has the tekin rx8 2000kv, ran 18t pinion and never got close to hot. i dont know how fast you can get it to go but tires are a must. mud slingers did pretty fair at speed with my set up but revo speed wasnt what i was after.
