Honestly, a DeWalt on 5S is pretty good already. If you want more speed, I think a much better option is to step up to an RX8. The weight penalty alone of a second DeWalt turns me off.

Having two only really drains your battery quicker and gives more torque. Not much more power. As said if you want more power go brushless. But a single kershaw goes great with more power than stock and more torque. But the 2nd is not necessary.

I know the owner pretty well. I loan him my Losi 5ive T form time to time to prototype things for it. He's a good guy and stands behind his products

Running dual 14.4's in mine and absolutely love it. I don't run it for high speed. More for crawling and power. RR gears and MIP cvd's and I can push my gti. It is heavy, but unstoppable. I can easily do trail runs for an hour and a half or more on dual 2s's.

You may want to check out my thread over at traxxas forums "Kershaw DeWalt Kit (won't say no more)"

The good news is I had a very respectable guy from the forums contact me and said he may start making DeWalt kits available for purchase. ;)

Weird ^^

I have purchased a few items sometimes had to wait forever and sometimes different items turned up than what was ordered ie program boxes for esc, but only had one issue with a conversion kit which admittedly he didn't rectify as he was sure the part was correct, which it wasn't I had to source the correct length dog bone locally at my expense but apart from that all good.

Hey guys, I know this is an older thread..but had quick question. So Ive ran my summit stock for a while now love it, but upgraded to 40 series mudslingers and was looking to put in a dewalt from kershaw myself...so is this kit a direct drop in? Or do I have to tweak anything? I would appreciate any info from guys that have or advice thanks!!!!
