sept mine is 90% stock and actually practical. just saying, its a cool build but definitely not for your everyday drivers, its way to much work. and mine is meant to put the rc4wd super swampers on the map for a normal vehicle and showing that you can run them on a normal 4s system and stock chassis and motors/ standard BL not a 400 system... also i went for speed and agility, he made a crawler. there just 100% different except the tires. also im sure he has a whole stock pile of diffs cause even with those aluminum cups if he locks the diffs hes going to brak the screws off that hold the ring on, ive done it with the summit on 4s with trencher x's on it. however GL to him on that part

i actually run a stock diff in the front still, haven't had problems with it.

That's my truck your bragging about here on the RCCrawler forum. Just guessing that on a forum with that name they probably do a lot of crawling and not so much Bashing. I don't expect anyone to read all the 440 some replies on the build at Traxxas . I did run those tires with the stock motor and esc almost every day for a month when i burnt up the first Mamba XL2 esc . Last time i checked RC4wd was a pretty good size spot on the map. I broke just as many diffs with the stock Summit as i have with this setup its more about throttle control then anything.

i could care less about rc4wd i want to put these tires on the map, most rc4wd products are junk imo, and its deffinetly about throtle control with this vehicle, and deffinetly but all my trucks are bashers i just got into the crawler world haha i know how to make a basher, i like your summit alot im just saying not everyone goes quite that far with it, ive talked to you on clod talk before haha

well went to the park behind my house with a couple buddys and while i was giving them a power display of the summit i heard the infamous click of teeth broken off the ring gear, so the diff holds up now its just the ring and/or pinion giving me trouble maby i can find harder diff ring.

i replaced the diffs and there fine now, ive run it multiple times and no breakage, and im not going easy on it. also i have shimmed them and its much better, and its far from breaking something every time i go out, i have driven this truck alot more than i post about it. i just post when shit breaks.

Gonna change out the 2050kv monstor motor and put in a tekin t8 2650 kv nd see if thats a little better for the top end since i dont need this monsters torque with the two speed tranny.

really put it through hell on rocks and mud this weekend and only thing that happened was i stretched the drive shaft, the rear center, it didn't break but stretched at the yolks, so i threw in a steel dog bone i had from my stretched emaxx that fit like a charm and i know will never break. shimmed my front and rear diff a little tighter today too and now there perfect, now to just figure a better suspension set up, fronts too mushy and rear is too stiff,
