Yes. That is cool. I'm thinking a Summ-Yeti LT would be the ticket.

If This was my Summit/Yeti it would have a Revo rear wing mount and Proline 0 offset narrow 3.8 rims. I don't have the 3.8 Mud Slingers. They look good but I think I would use the Axial 3.8 BFG Krawlers just for the scale looks. I do like though.
The buggy body is just what the Summit needs!

That is awesome. The mud slingers look sweet with that body. Too bad I just sold mine. The thing I didn't like about the mud slingers is the weight. Great quality tire but a lot of rotating mass. I'm seriously thinking of trying this. Been trying to figure out a good way to cross-over with the summit so it looks a little more scale and this is definitely one way.

I'm going to start making Custom all carbon chassis for the revo and summit that will let anyone use what ever wheel base that they order. It will use a single 1/5 steering servo mount.
That way you can use what ever body you want!
You will know when that happens when my status here changes so that I can sell here.

That will be sweet. Was that video yours because it's not working now? Wish I saved it.

That's a shame the channel is gone...this gave me an idea though. Take the Summit LT build (Project Traxxas Summit LT Scale Conversion - RC TRUCK STOP) and toss the Yeti body on instead. Find some scale 2.2 tires and wheels as well. Is the Yeti body much wider than the Summit body?

I would buy the complete body off of ebay and then look at what it's going to do. It does look wider. The 0 offset rims my be all that is needed.
The scale is great but what really stands out and what Traxxas didn't take the time to consider it the body of the Yeti is designed to have the wheel on the out side of the body (perfect for the Summit). Traxxas really isn't into scale and there products shows this inmost of there products. The Funny car is very scale and X0-1 isn't bad in the looks dept. That 2 out of how many?

Also I would stay with 3.8 wheels. It will out perform the other yetis this way and also stand out because of that and the monster looks that they have also. Remember this body is designed to have big tires sticking out.

This idea has me going now, I may have to tell Santa to leave a Summit roller under the tree this year.

You got a great deal. Pick up the rear chassis brace. it helps the plastic chassis with the flexing. You can also make one. To get a different look. Try the Yeti 1/10 cage and body on the Summit it really improves when you use the Proline zero offset narrow rims and the Axial BFG krawler tires. Looks like a rock racing buggy.
Happy trails with it and lots of fun!

Which chassis brace? I plan on making some videos of comparisons with the Summit's crawling. I'm so tired of watching videos of "Summit vs X" where one driver doesn't know how to drive either vehicle, I'd rather just do it myself and get it over with. Plus, Traxxas finally wised up on the price so I figure now is the best time if ever to pick the truck up.

It really looks good with the narrow tires! The brace I was talking about is the rear brace that is made for the revo but also fits the summit.
