New Traxxas Scaler - Land Rover Defender 110

I didn't even know these existed. Walked into a RC hobby store today to buy a $9 can of spray paint for my Land Cruiser 70 body and almost turned it into a $460+ transaction when I saw the Defender 110. Would be great alongside the Land Cruiser. Maybe some photos of the LC70 towing the Defender when it breaks down...lol.

I've been staring at the TRX-4 in my shopping cart on RPP Hobby for the last few weeks...And I totally want to do something like that - just have my SCX10 II Cherokee tow the Land Rover, which will be pissing fluids like a true British car.

I need to find some thick, environmentally-friendly fluid I can add some red food colouring too in a slow drip bottle and strap it to a TRX-4 for more scale points.

I agree. It's an odd body, but an even odder finish. It camouflages the body as much the camouflage that manufacturers put on prototype cars while testing them.

It's a sad day when Big Squid becomes the source for new releases.

I have a broken right rear right turn signal and the light controller kept thinking the car wanted to turn left all the time. So I pulled the turn signal wire because it was funny at first, then became extremely obnoxious.

That body is hideous, but if you want to swap it out and save money. Should be able to sell the Landy body for more than that thing though lol.

I want to say it's terrible but I think it wouldn't be bad with some work. It is the paint and window, grill, and headlight stickers that kill it for me. The front and rear bumpers from the D110 version also look out of place.

A matte paint job, clear windows, a 3D grill, and losing the rear tire carrier could make this look worlds better: not so good that I would actively choose to buy this body but good enough that I wouldn't immediately light it on fire.
