In terms of SORRCA rules, what classes would this fit in? Out of the box, it looks like a C2, and with a tire swap C1. But, do the portal axles push it out of either class to C3? |

I'd say it's a C1 vehicle with C2 tires. Nothing in the rules about limiting portals in any class. |

I know they haven't gained favor at events, but this vehicle fits into the RCCA 1.9 Modified Trail Vehicle definition. The document describes the large portion of 1.9 RTR/kit rigs available as opposed to creating a set of rules for rigs to conform into. It simply outlines tire, rim, and gate size along with having body overlapping tires. It is aimed at getting new people involved in course building and simple performance benchmarking (scoring), without being tough to digest. The majority of people buying the TRX-4 may be first time crawlers, and getting their feet wet with concepts of similar rigs and skilled driving will make attending SORCCA, G6, and other events a smaller step. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing |
