Tire upgrade I installed the Mad Beast on the TRX4 and I like them alot. The standard dual stage foams are way to soft for the Defender Body so I used the CI Mad Beast foams and I guess they will work great. If not, I will cut them down a little bit. ![]() TRX4 Land Rover Defender 110 RTR Tire vs BFG vs Mad Beast ![]() Traxxas Tire vs BFG vs Mad Beast Dual stage vs CI foams ![]() TRX4 Land Rover Defender 110 ![]() TRX4 Land Rover Defender 110 ![]() TRX4 Land Rover Defender 110 ![]() TRX4 Land Rover Defender 110 |

Anyone try the RC4WD Rock Creepers 1.9? Love the look, but not sure how they will look as they are pretty short 96.5mm.

![]() There is also the fact that the X3 soft & sticky compound, despite it's name, is neither soft or sticky. Consider the Proline BFG Krawlers or Hyraxs for a similar tread pattern in a much better performing tire that fits well on the TRX4. | |

Are you still running those tires? Have you tried to lower the body at all?

Anyone know how these would look and work? RC4WD Mickey Thompson Classic Lock 1.9" Internal Beadlock Wheel Also if they would look ok and work ok, what would be a good all purpose tire? Not looking to do any serious crawling, more of an all terrain. A Little Rock, dirt, mud, hills, I live in a very diverse area lol. |

| ![]() That would be great. Just don't want to drop that kind of money on them and they look silly or I have to do a crap ton of trimming.

Does anyone know if the SSD portal covers will work with PROLINE flatline or denali wheels? I have the wheels, and want the SSD covers, If not I will buy SSD wheels as well but hoping to spend that cash on something else if possible.. ![]() Thanks |

Anyone already tried BoomRacing Krait wheels? Got some Venomous Krait wheels from a project I cancelled, and might throw them on my TRX4 when it gets here |

Just tried the BoomRacing Venomous Krait wheels. They hit the portal cover with the screws that hold them together, possible solved by using a hex screw with a smaller/flatter head instead of the large ones supplied. And I cannot tighten the wheel nuts enough, they hit the end of the thread before the wheel is fully tightened Also the supplied wheel wideners do not fit the TRX output shafts, they need to be drilled out by about 1mm to fit. Ok. So if I'm taking all this information in properly, all I need to do to make the RC4WD 5 lug White wagon wheels I have fit my trx is drill out the center that fits over the axle and swap the rear pin drive adapter to the hex one.....anything else? I picked up a set of these wheels already from my LHS before i even took into account the differences with these axles and if they would work. I really like the classic white wagon wheel look so I want to make them work. They will be paired with TSL/SX-XL's........
