Default Controlling servo winch from traxxas remote

Can someone from experienced rcers can help me out. I want to install a winch on my traxxas trx4, I am looking into servo winch. Is there anyway possible to operate it thru the original controller? I know it's 4 channel one.....but still is there any way?

Nope all the switches are used. Maybe a easy accessible switch on your rig?

This and glue it to the radio. Easy way to add a 5th channel!

I like to use Dual lock from 3M, its a heavy duty velcro like fastener, its way stronger than velcro though. I've used it a ton since I've discovered it.

I did the same thing though, HeyOk wireless controller attached to transmitter, which I was hoping to not have to do but It was really the only way that wasn't super complex.

Even if you sacrifice the 3 position switch used for the diffs the 3 position switch operates different to a normal 3 way switch and cannot be used for a winch. It needs a forward neutral and reverse, and all it can do is turn on and off 2 servos.

Try this stuff. It's a double sided tape that holds very well. It is also removable (with a bit of force) and leaves no residue. You only need a small square piece.

Yeah I have a bunch of 3m double sided tape and I much prefer the Dual lock its super versatile. You can easily pull loose and reposition things, think velcro but with a much much stronger bond.
