Default Trailer Hitch?

What are people using for a trailer hitch on the TRX-4? I've just been looking on Ebay but they were mostly SCX10 or RC4WD hitches. The TRX-4 appears to have a square receiver in the plastic bumper but no obvious attachment to the chassis anywhere.

Are people just mounting a RC4WD type hitch directly into the bumper?

I'm using the SCX-10.2 hitch and it fits great.

Are you mounting to the C-channels via the bracket (like in a SCX10) or just using the square section of the hitch into the TRX-4 bumper?

I tried the SCX-10.2 Jeep XJ rear bumper and it mounted into the Traxxas bumper mount. Then mounted the trailer hitch that comes with the bumper and it didn't look bad. I went back to the Traxxas rear bumper and mounted the Axial hitch into the receiver hole and then used the axial set screw to lock the hitch into place (the traxxas bumper has the hole in the bottom for this) and have decided to leave it like that for now. I will have to change the ball on the hitch so that I can hook up my car trailer to tow my yard sale find, a Tamiya Sand Scorcher that I picked up for $10 last weekend.

The RC Rock Armor drop hitch will also work with some modifications.

Thanks for the replies folks, I just ordered the RC4WD long adjustable hitch. I went for the long because if it's too long I can always cut it down whereas if the short was too short I'd be stuck.

Not having either the truck or trailer(s) yet makes choosing the right option a bit more difficult but everything should start to arrive during the coming week!
