Default Fix for slop in the motor mount

So I just made a quick video on fixing the slop in the motor mount. I did this a while back but a recent video posted by someone having the same issue made me want to put this video together.

Just a bit of electric tape to the rescue, just a layer between the mount plate and the top plate seem to do it up tight.

At first I though cramming the tape in there would mess up the gear mesh so I ended up taking out the tape until today when a video prompted me to check again, I dont think it will mess with the mesh much at all, just make it consistent.

Me thinks we need some alloy parts. Hopefully enough of these trucks have sold to get the aftermarket interested in ramping up production on SOMETHING

There's about 4 billion different types of portal weights on ebay right now, lol.

But yeah, we need an AU upper and lower spur gear covers, as the screws to bolt down the cover strip out the lower cover very easily.

I have had no issue with the motor mount being loose.

I checked mine, it is tighten when in the truck bolted down and I can't move it at all. I can move it when shown in the video with just the plate and cover.

I checked both how it is (HR aluminum plate and old cover) as well as a new set I bought for another project that didn't work out which is all plastic. Both seems fine when completely tightened down with cover and all. Tolerances must be just perfect on the 2 I tested is all that says.
