So Hyrax tires arrived and finished mounting them
Here the goodies

Mounted the hyrax with proline dual stage foams on yeah racing heavy mass beadlocks i got cheap and for me they look bad ass on the trex.

they are also the reason for the 9mm hubs to clear codyboys knuckle weights.

And some poser pics.

saddly no test drives next days

Long time no drivetime but some wrench time and parts came in over the time.
Cleaned up wiring

and installed correct rear lights so now they are like the 1:1. the Fog light is hocked to Channel 3 and indicates 1st gear.
Also installed the SSD rear bumper with Stock shackles. Not Sure what should fill the empty holes.

Front lights got a guard and Help from a 2" on the bumper and 5" in the roof (mounted to the cage) onetoomany lightbar.

Hyrax now mounted on rc4wd wheels the yeah racing where crap.

Also updated the steering servo. The HH hv500 V2 is a monster on 2s will see what happens on 3s.

More in the Pipe but first some drive time hopefully. Will be an alaska like little truck journey.

Will be different like this

i mean the holes in the ssd bumper
i use transparent plastic washers under the screws

one thing on the rc4wd wheels i had to use some spacer (used m3 nuts) between font and rear part to fit the hyrax even with the proline inner rings.

But new wheels are packed from my wife to a sled which is comming soon

Oh, ok understood on the bumper holes, they are all that way in 1:1 that I've seen, just holes waiting for accessories. Great wife giving RC parts for Christmas!

Cutted it to 19cm * 9 cm, roll it and used small colored ziptie.

First adventure tour of little Trex.

The monsum time just ended, so that we start to our first offroad adventure. The terrain as we left the civilization was muddy from the rain. But we where full of hope and confident with the truck.

We managed the first small canyons.

Climbing up the first muddy hills to reach the grass land behind.

Not easy but we managed to find doable lines up hill.

Not easy to find traction the fresh mud was like glue on the tires.

After passing the surrounding Hills we reached the grass land and spotted some really big animals.

We went further in the wild land climbing hugh hills, with muddy surface.

We struggle a little to find the best lines to pass the hills, but at the end we made it.

And reached the first water hole which we have to pass not knowing how deep they are.
Cause the the ground was not visible in the muddy water. Glad that we find the right way.

And concering the next hills, but this time the ground was loose gravel, and it was aswell not easy to find tracktion.
But the new tires made a incredible job on this journey.

Going deeper in the wild we passed also streams with unknown deepness.

After a few weeks in the wild we are all happy to come back to the civilization.

And we all welcome the surface of the streets heading home after all the obstacles, waterholes, streams, muddy and gravel hills.

***End***

Hope you like the pics and the little story. Now i work on the trip movie.

thx. still considering the next steps regarding design route, unsure if i stay with stock or if i go the route to cut the rear out. so next will be technical, i try to make my 1. own servo winch out of a jx pdi-hv5932mg 360°.
also my little monster needs some attention and i will try to cut the vids (still learning) i did the last time and load them up.

Long time no updates here
The Landi doing great, unbelievable nothing broke - nothing to replace It's like a tank even a hugh roll down the hill only bend the ssd rear bumper. So it has owned the scars
But now it's time for some goodis going from the shelf into the truck

Today i installed the one piece GRC motor mount i have for month ... paired now with the holmes traimaster 550 21t (need the titan for another project )

and installed a front fender from xrra speed.

Next, after a test run the next change is in the pipe HW1080

Caught some sunshine

And tested the new motor, smoother startup than the Titan as first impression. Cold as ice nothing above 29°C.

Loooove your rig bud, wanna do pretty nuch the same thing .
Quick question tho, a few days ago I swapped the esc for the honnywing 1080p and added a BEC and I have a whole new car. The inly thing is when I went to plug the back the power module for the lights (without any light plugged) I reversed polarity. The power module heat up a lot. Then I tried to plug the lights and they all blink for a second and then only the little yellow in the front and the reds in the back stay on. Teied to plug them individually and they light but beeeery dim. With no load the output on the module is 3V but as soon as I plug it drops to 1.82V. I guess my module is finished?. Do you habe the name of that module you found?.
Thanks in advance
