K10 body, bobbed frame

I just figured i'd share my build.

I really like this body. It's one of my favorites. I really like this trx-4. it's one of my favorites... lol

So i used the stock body posts from the TRX4 up front. i just made 2 new holes in the body.

In the rear i used the stock vaterra posts that would go down into the vaterra chassis. I drilled 2 horizontal holes through it and ran longer rear shock mount bolts through them and created a hinge setup.

In the rear (test fitting here) the chassis was a lot longer than on the ascender.

Sooooooooooo

That's the result. I think it turned out nice.

The only other things i've changed are:

MFR brass portal covers
MFR tie rod
MFR lower links
Savox 500oz servo
NO brainer BEC
Raceline beadlocks
Alien compound pitbull rocker XL's

This thing just works.

Thanks man. I really liked that body. If you change out the cab you can do it without bobbing the frame. But i like how that turned out anyway.

Not sure what you mean here. What cab would you have to change it out for?

you can run the yota or dodge cab that's longer with the K10 bed/cage and it looks correct without bobbing the frame.
