Of course it's released right after I ordered the Hot Racing one yesterday...

I'm interested in seeing what other spline counts you decide to make for this. My TRX wanders, steering won't stay centered for 5 minutes on the trail. I'm not sure if it's a servo horn problem or a crappy stock servo problem. But I'd be more inclined to buy a new horn from a company who also makes one for say, a good Hi-tec servo. Easier to deal with returning it if it doesn't work out that way.

Your stock plastic servo horn may have stripped. Check it...

I wish I was so lucky. My stock servo is screwy, and the horn is intact and tight.

Wow that's significantly shorter than the stocker.

I saw this on Faebook today. Not sure what's going on as the ones I have checked are are identical in spec to the servo horns on the two TRX-4s I have here. So I'm wandering if there are two different servo horns being fitted by Traxxas. It's not like us to make such a basic mistake so I will try and find out what's going on....

I doubt a couple of mm is going to make that much difference really.

It’s less than 2mm based on the image. Mines working well with no issues. Though I set my end points and can tune a drag link if needed.

Actually, a shorter lever will increase the torque the servo imparts to the drag link which might not be a bad thing.

I see that SSD has not responded yet, but has anyone else confirmed or denied if these SSD arms are in fact shorter than the original Traxxas arms? Or if Traxxas has more than one length arm they use?

For the folks that have the longer stock Traxxas arms did you use the SSD arm? Did it fit OK or cause any other problems or interference?

I kind of wished I would've seen this post BEFORE I added a couple of them to my RPP order this morning based on other options now available.

A couple of mm on a servo horn can be a big deal especially when you're dealing with a weak, stock servo.

I completely believe you designed it to the the same length as the stock servo you had in your possession.

I'm going to measure my Bronco horn tonight as long as I remember,
