Default Trx4 hexes. Are they specific??

I'm in a rush and hadn't had a chance to check around really even think about this but I do know the hex from my 10.2 will not fit or work to replace the broken one I just found on my TRX4.

I don't see opening up the vp clamping style one working but once I look at it I might give it a shot. What are my options? I actually just got home and looked at the Rock Ray and they have a larger diameter Universal slash axle so I guess I'm trying that first

Yes TRX4 hexes are different to most. If you plan on running aftermarket wheels then you need these: PARTS FOR TRX-412mm Aluminum Hex Set for TRX-4

It doesn't matter which kind you use if they fit your wheels. The stock hex's dont have the additional nipple or ridge sticking out they're flat where it mates to the wheel. But if you have the wheels to match the wraith or VP style it will be fine.

The TRX-4 hex has a shoulder machined on the inboard face which seats against the portal driven gear keeping the lower shaft assembly in place. The SSD hex adds a second machined shoulder on the outboard face which locates SLW style wheel hubs but will not work with the stock wheels.

I will order a set and thanks to everyone who responded. I thought about my rock Ray having a larger diameter axle and they fit. I had big plans that would have been ruined for me and a few others if they were specific and that's why I was in slight panic mode. Thanks again
