I have seen a number of aftermarket diff covers coming on the market but judging from how scuffed up my stock covers have become I doubt I will be buying one anytime soon.

They remind me of SSD's diff covers for various axles.

Except HR forgot the part where not having bolt heads on the bottom half of the cover is the significant advantage of the smooth design.

I think that's an Xtra speed cover: for Traxxas TRX-4 Black #XS-TX28016BK, ,(XS-TX28016BK) by Xtra Speed Aluminum CNC Protector Differential Case

I'm hoping RC4WD releases an ARB one or SSD releases one.

I really like the scale look of the XtraSpeed covers.

Problem is they won't stay looking nice like that for very long once you start crawling which is why I would like to see someone offer a diff skid plate.

Skid plate's just worsen ground clearance though and add hang up points.

I shaved my stock plastic ones down at the bottom to remove the detail and make them much more what a truck built like even the stock TRX-4 would use. Though I took no pictures, I'll get some tonight.

Really? This is one of the first I've seen for the TRX-4. Surprised the market has heated up here yet. Seems everyone and their grandma has a cover out for the Ascender.

I love to get lots of low angle shots of my truck, so diff covers have been high on my wishlist

Do a search on ebay for TRX-4. There are several different styles of diff covers listed as you scroll through the pages.

Skid plates are for shelf queens. They hinder performance at the cost of keeping your axles pretty.

Since the noob "manufacturers" insist on trying to turn the TRX-4 into a big, heavy, shiny piece of brass I can't believe they haven't released 1 pound, brass diff covers yet.
