I’m finally excited about the Traxxas. Now that it’s a kit, especially if wheels/Tires and body are left out and the price reflects as such...

They know the whole market, I think they are building the crawler niche deliberately , close to scale, more bits and pieces, starting to be more fun with the kit offering Hang up and Drive |

Alright, that combination of a kit TRX-4 plus those 3 options officially pushed me over the edge. I will be getting my first Traxxas as soon as everything seen above comes out.

I wish they'd release a simpler kit. I don't need all the fancy moving parts that are sure to stop out on the trail. Give me solid axles and a single speed. I thought I wanted the TRX-4 with all of the gadgets until I sat and thought more about it. The body is sick though and I'm all for more bodies. I'm also all for more kits. Great day for us because of Traxxas. |

Solid axles and a single speed , get Axial or Gmade . The portals and lockable diffs are holding their own, very few real complaints to date. This is more where I would start, but trans is overkill, I prefer my Futaba’s feel. Hang up and Drive

It would be nice to have the option to simplify the build. I don't care how well it's holding up. More moving parts equals more spots of failure and certainly more maintenance.

Well this body has to be lighter maybe even better approach and departure angles too, looks like a good performance upgrade. Keep it coming Traxxas!

Yeah I keep hearing that. I run an Axial Two speed in my Yeti, (Pro4HD3100) and have zero issues after a year. I ran the GMade portals, and the extra gears were trouble proof, and the lines I could make because that pumpkin wasn’t dragging . Yeah the lockers and servos, not a large fan of them, but they seem to be working well Hang up and Drive |

Just noticed, I like especially the 2.2 wheels and tires. Yes, I think big wheels and tires are all the way to go. I hate small 1.9s |

Another thing I see that's new is there are shut lines between panels, maybe its just from the stickers with the fade from yellow to red or did they actually paint this???

The inner wells look to be revised and attached to the rails in the long arm kit pictures, that's pretty nice.

| Re: Spotted at SEMA The wheelbase of a truck with linked suspension will decrease the more you lift it. The point of the long arm kit is to keep the same wheelbase with more lift from longer shocks.

Good thing about this truck, you put it together, without all the stuff people have complained about. I would just lock both diffs keep the 2 speed tranny and just use my control.. ! Thats how I looked at this new kit. Makes it simple for some.
