Default Proline brass brake rotor weights.

Has anyone bought the Brass brake rotor weights from proline and found they rub on the top of the portal covers. I'm using the pro faultline wheels with the 6 lug adapters but they still rub. Any ideas?

Sorry I don't actually have this setup but I can say that since its not a TRX-4 specific part I'm not surprised since clearance to the portals is a common issue just fitting wheels without added weights.
It might need to be machined down to clear the portal box, or depending on how close it is to working maybe the plastic portal box can be trimmed slightly.

Do you have a picture you can post of the situation?

For the life of me I cant figure out how to post a picture but I did install the new MIP wide axle kit and that was the ticket. This axle kit could alleviate a lot of wheel clearance issues.

I too have the MIP axle kit. It’s what Traxxas should have done stock.

No thanks, this is correct to be kept narrower, it's not a Bomber or Wraith.

Hey I've even gone to great lengths to narrow up my Wraith, it loves to drag axle.

Its only 4mm per axle which translates to 1/4 inch overall. I'm hoping that small amount wont hinder its performance and the weighted wheels help its crawling ability. Going to the crawler track tomorrow for some testing.

Hit the track yesterday and my one observation is I think these rotor weights added too much weight up front. The added weight seemed to get me hung up on rocks more easily. Next step to remove them and see if my theory holds true. Guess that's why they call it testing.
