Default Anyone find a way to move the battery forward

Looking for ideas to move the battery up towards the front.. I am gonna try an Ascender battery tray and a 3s LIHV battery. Any other ideas. I want to run 3s the LIHV is the only 3s shorty I've found.

Thanks everyone!! That's what I'll get. You run a full size battery with that?

Depends on your definition of "full size". Mine is on a comp truck and I only run 500mah packs. 1 pack for each course. You can probably get a large pack in there. The cross brace between the shock towers is your limiting factor. The battery pack needs to fit under that cross brace. My 2200mah packs don't fit there.

There was a thread a few weeks back, wrightcs77 posted up a pic of the Dravtec front battery mount installed, and there was some discussion on the strength of the design too.

I saw this battery and servo relocation on hot racing. Not sure exactly where it mounts though. TRXF100FM01

Here you go:

If you (only) want to move the servo forward, without using this kit, there also are brass front bumper mounts with servo mounts available from various (Chinese) vendors.

Here are a few pics. I have the front bumper mount flipped, still works fine.

Did the same thing. 2200mah is my standard lipo and I just use some HD Velcro to keep it in place.

Thar hot racing one is interesting. The battery sits a little high but there's not much you can do about it especially if you wat to run a larger pack. Probably my best option, I run full size packs. $70 is a little high IMO. Thanks everyone

Hey, it's not my design. If you have any complaints/suggestions, take it to the Chinese

Never said it was your design, just pointing out the downsides of it.
