It's completely possible, get ready to basically build a totally new truck though.

It is 100% possible, but you will be doing some surgery on a few parts, and might have to make a few of your own. I am changing my WB to 12.3", and the wheels will be right next to the running boards, any closer and I would have to trim them up. You'll have to figure out how to move the shock tower that far up, which will impede into the battery tray, or make/modify shock hoops. I don't think the drive shaft will compress down that far, which is not a big deal, you can cut that one down or use a shorter SCX10 drive shaft. I am assuming you have a specific body in mind, and most likely you'll need to remove some of the frame rails to get the back of the body on. Also, if the body is that short, it likely isn't all that wide and the TRX4 wheels will stick way out. This is just the short list off the top of my head, you will most certainly find more obstacles to overcome when you start digging into this project. |
