So came the first round of upgrades,

Wheels, tyres, new hitec 7955 steering servo, running on a dx4s.

Now to get the dx4s to work I have locked the rear diff and disconnected the servo,

Meaning I have a switchable front diff and 2 speed for now....

Hooked up to the burger van,

Still more to come.....

So I’ve wanted a new front bumper since opening the box, saw this made by GRC (I have the on/off switch mod made by them too)

Quality and feel is good too.

Would have been rude not to fit a alloy front bumper mount too...

All fitted up (winch not wired up yet),

Now awaiting the next batch of goodies....
I’ll update when they arrive.

Thanks for taking the time to look, Gaz.

The best part is your real defender. Let's see more pics of that

Your defenders don't match, lol. The more toys the better.

Well time for a small update,

After continued waiting since the beginning of November, I couldn’t find stock of any 1.9” pitbull xl’s (I had the smaller ones fitted) anyway whilst searching eBay, I found some Hyrax 1.9” from Rc mart, just under £40 posted.

Couldn’t wait to get them fitted,

Just need to find the time to use it now lol

Been waiting since before Christmas to add these hop ups to the truck, some bits are ‘still’ in the post....
now my original plan was all black alloy but spied the front inner and outer portal cases from gpm at silly money in red so decided to get red portal casings with black c-hubs and rear lockouts (samix c-hubs are black). But when it came to ordering, couldn’t find the samix ones anywhere so had to settle for fastrax for now (I’ll get samix ones eventually and put the fastrax ones on My lads truck). Oh and lastly a red rear alloy bumper mount, the screws are a temp fix while I get some more

one thing i will say though, the different branded bits aren’t a perfect fit together either but nothing a bit of modding couldn’t cure.

anyway, pics....

Front,

Rear,

Rear bumper mount,

Sorry about the pics, I’ll get some better ones in proper daylight.

Now to continue waiting for the next round of goodies to be delivered.

Thanks, gaz.
