When I removed mine to shoot the exterior in matte clear, I realized just how floppy the stock rubber ones were... kinda annoying, but I suppose it makes them more durable.

Do you guys have a good way ti plug the holes in the body for the original exocage?
I think this guy pretty much nailed it tho', not sure if he just cut off the exo from the original mounts or what he did, but that at least makes it easy to retrofit the cage if I would like to use later on..

I think he did good on everything on this one.

Body turned out nice. I like how you cut the fender flares. They turned out good.

Congrats! Best of luck to you both!

Thanks man, the weddingday must have been one of my best days I guess, just the closest people around us beeing there for us and making the whole day just perfect..
And I will take notes, I'll try to keep her happy. I guess that's getting more difficult later on, coz' at the moment she seems even more happy than I am, and I am pretty much feeling like I'm on top of the world..

Thanks alot mate!
That body was just pictures of a body I noticed on facebook.
At first I thought it was awesome, but now that I've been drooling over those pictures some days I might change my opinion slightly.. I still think he has done a phenomenal job, especially I liked the flares aswell, but the whole package might be just a little too much for my cup of tea..
Right now I'm glad I was in the pre-wedding days when I found those pictures, I would've hated if I just went crazy and chopped mine like that without taking time to look at it a second time..

Hoping for some painting tomorrow..

I guess the Raptor is just staying white, but the Defender I'm not sure of yet.. I got a lot of paint here, and I would like it silver, blue or red..
And I've gotten in contact with a guy with a pro decal-machine, so the Raptor may get some cool decals, if I can just wrap my head around a layout I'm willing to try out.
The Defender? Well, I actually love the decals I got on the black one, but I'd also like to try it singlecolored for a while, after all it's just paint..

Oh, I got pics.. I just haven't been brave enough to post them yet.. HAHAHA!!!
I think I need to go shopping for some HUGE attentionmaking stickers.. I even managed to completely paint the inside of both the rear door windows with filler..

Also the Raptor.. I should ofcourse painted the panels individually before mounting it together, but not me..! Oh no!! I even used glue on every panel together with all nine million screws holding the panels together, lesson learned huh..?? HAHAHA!!

I think I need to get drunk and make up some pretty funny excuses, cos' this is just.. dumb.. :p

It doesn't look half as bad in this pics as it does in real life..
So now I'm focusing on finally making a more steady mount for the Hummer and printing that tonight while this failure bothers my mind in the background..

Well if you post pics of the paint disaster, I'll post pics ( in a separate thread) of my friends TRX4 that is so stunningly screwed up that I haven't even had the heart to give him the complete list of what needs fixed in order to get it running. It's unreal.

Really just wanted to wish you and your lady a "Congratulations!"

Been there dun that... Get some light grit sand paper n try wet sanding it, after it sits for a few days to completely dry. May need a couple light coats after. But if u take your time i believe u can get the runs cleaned up. Looks like either the paint wasnt mixed up good, wasnt any good, or maybe shit a lil to close. Ive had issues from not shakin the rattle cans long enuf n the paint was a bit watery per say n caused runnin.
