Aaand like always.. When something new is added, then we take pictures!
So I took the v2.0 out for a walk today. Did climb a couple stretches also, but did that just for fun after I took some photos..

I'm in the jungle..

I actually have some cool "scenery" to take photos in my backyard..

I didn't have the heart to mount the front bumper with the winch with this grill, it would've covered the whole beauty ;)

I have off course allready ordered a few options from the e-of-bay, because I dont think it can be naked in the front..

But the thing is cool tho', agree!!??

Thank you very much!

Actually I am thinking of bumper completely without winch on this one. If i find out that that's a bad idea later on I must find a solution on that issus, but then it need to be a servo/hidden feature..

Just the same here.. I've tried the winch to check if it works.. but I have never had to use it because I got stuck or something.

You know what..? I'm sick of life trying to make me miserable..
The few of you that have followed this thread from the beginning have noticed that there has been a few up and downs..
Three weeks ago my best friend around where I live now(been living here for 9 years now) was out in the garage changing some suspension parts on his BMW together with his two sons(8 and 10).
When I've been helping him and I've helped him he always was paying attention to taking precautions, using extra safety when working under the car and so on..
But as faith has decided not to be in the good mood, he forgot to use any additional security besides the hydraulic jack on the concrete floor in the garage this day, I guess it was a kind of "Oh, I'll get this in a hurry"-jobs, we have all done it, right..?

Well.. He never got to regret that move, while he was under the car the BMW fell down on him, the sons said he just made a short howl and then got quiet.. The 8 year old ran to get help and the 10 year old tried to get the car on the jack again, without luck.. :(
After one week in coma at the hospital he passed away, leaving two boys, a fiancee and two steph kids..
I've been crying and thinking and just not been connected this weeks, and today it was his funeral.. 37 years old, and now he's gone..

So I got just one thing to say to you guys, please stop with this "Oh, I'll just..".. Take two minutes extra if that's what it takes, be safe, make it home to your wife and kids.. !!

I dont really know how to continue after a down like that, but here goes..
Nothing big here, but I got two different bumpers in the mail the other day, wich one do you think looks the best..? I know the pictures is a bit dark, I'll probably take a few more another day, as you allready guessed I think..

or this one

At the first glance I like the minimalistic the best, but I'm gonna give the other one a fair chance in daylight also, I'm not just gonna bin it like I've done to so many parts.. That insanity has to end, I'm from now on a horder.. :p

Condolences to his family and yours. That's a terrible loss. We usually get away with those kind of things, but that's a hard reminder of why we shouldn't risk it.

Both bumpers look good, but I think the second one goes with that new grill better.

I like the top one. Tragedy sucks. I hope you find a way through. No one should ever have to deal with that.

Mounted the slim front bumper today and a new set of rock sliders, I think it look good!
I also made a short backyard-crawl just to show that it's still alive..
BTW, I simply LOVE those XOR-tires!! <3

Thanks for the support guys!
It means alot!
Since the funeral on friday I just strapped into my Audi and headed out for a totally off-line joyride in the Audi. I really love to drive my car, and in two weeks we are setting off to a road-trip vacation, as always
And since I today got to take out the v2.0 for a little ride I guess I'll soon be back on track
Had to take a pic of the Audi also, sorry for the grainy/crappy quality, I guess you're used to it by now

Yeah it really was, and it is always fun with this truck..
The only issue is that I'm too much of a photo and video-guy, so I use a lot of time to get to drive a little run.
At least yesterday I first had some pre-runs with two-handed driving, but when I'm filming with one and driving with the other, then I need to pick some easier lines because of the accuracy by thumb-steering, but hey.. I'm still learning!
