Bumper options

I was looking for bumper options for the Trx4 that allows the truck to have a better approach to obstacles, but still provides protection. I have found (like many others) that the stock bumper gets in the way of crawling.
When choosing a new bumper is there any thought to weight or material being better? Any other stock bumpers that fit? I think I read that the SCX10 bumpers are direct bolt on.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with those bumpers?

Scalerfab makes awesome stuff and that is a fantastic looking Bumper.
It will probablely be the Best and Strongest bumper you could ever get for the Trx4.

I'm running this bumper from RC4WD, very very sturdy and fits good on my body (not stock) with minor trimming of the bumper.

Do you guys think the tube bumpers get hung up more than a smooth skid plate type bumper?
Also, is there a technical benefit to a stinger or trail bar? I like the look of them.
