Default New jeep body question

So I read on here somewhere that the body post holes on the axial 2012 JK body line up perfectly with the trx4 body posts? Does anyone know if the new 2017 rubicon crc body from the scx10.2 lines up with the posts?

The wheelbase between the TRX and SCX10.2 do not line up.

Really? Because I dropped the body from my Kit 10.2 onto my TRX (after drilling new mount holes) and it seems to match up perfectly....

Body sides even fit in the retaining gaps on the sliders if you lower the posts a couple of notches...

Can get another pic with sitting on the suspension when I get home if anyone wants.

Just had to make the front holes slightly larger, but had to drill new holes for the rear posts.

Yep, but you stated the wheel base for a TRX and 10.2 "don't line up", so I provided a picture of a 10.2 body lining up pretty well on a TRX chassis...thanks for being a smartass

EDIT: Just double-checked, and both the original 10.2 XJ body and the CRC JK body the OP is asking about are listed as 313mm wheelbase, which makes it a reasonable comparison IMO. Also the TRX-4 wheelbase is listed as 324mm.... I think 11mm is going to be close enough for most people, or a fairly easy adjustment if that 11mm really bugs the crap out of you...

I have to agree with JSterrett in that the question was about wheelbase and the specific SCX10.2 body is somewhat irrelevant since they both mount on the same 313mm wheelbase.

Thanks mate... yes stock trx4 wheelbase. IMO the jk body fits perfect and pretty much looks the same as my 1:1 JK.

Was looking at that the other day, very nice looking truck. I'm probably going to use that same body on mine as soon as I can get some funds together.
