Default Traxxas Ford Bronco TRX-4 at Nuremberg (via bigsquid)

to quote.....

But wait, there’s more! Traxxas is also showing of their Ford Bronco TRX-4. Here is what we know-
* Based on the popular TRX-4
* Comes with a shorter wheelbase than the Land Rover or Tactical Unit
* Traxxas will release a short link set so you can use the Bronco body on your existing TRX-4

Check out the gorgeous pics.

The Pro Scale 4wd Unlimited Desert Racer looks and sounds really sweet as well.

The upper rear shock mounts look interesting. They appear to be part of the rear inner fenders now.

I want one. Real bad, but don't want to pay what they'll be going for.

That is interesting. I understand that there is supposed to be an fender option that won't require a Traxxas body or the fender flares. So this must be the new mounting.

I saw somewhere the inner fenders go over the shock towers and the multiple holes are to allow the shock towers to move for different wheelbases.

Of course it may be all new as well, who knows at this point.

Those sure look like the same 1.9 Canyon Crawlers we all have now.

I bet its 313mm to fit normal bodies correctly. I did that with all stock Traxxas pieces anyhow.

Is that a spot for a winch mount or a shorty battery in front of the servo?

I'm glad to see they have an option to put the fenders on the chassis and not just the body. Not a huge deal, but it does make it more difficult to remove/install the body.

It occurs to me that you could stick a great scale engine bay into the TRX models if you shifted the body mounts to the wheel arches. A nice little 3d printed V8

Yes that’s a shorty pack mount on the front end! Very cool!
