Cruise Control and other ESCs

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know if the cruise control function will still work if I change the ESC? I am under the impression that it's controlled solely by the transmitter, but I'm still very new to this hobby (my first hobby grade RC).

Hey welcome to the hobby!

I had to think about this one for a sec even though I've done exactly that (replaced the ESC and kept the transmitter) and yes the cruise control is tied to the transmitter and still works after swapping ESCs.

I really love having cruise control, much more than I expected I would.

EDIT: I just noticed the Thule sticker, super scale :ror:

Yeah cruise control is, surprisingly, one of my favorite features on this truck! I like jogging behind it on the trails (whatever motivation I can get to exercise :lmao:).
