I submerge my slashes all the time, just balloon the battery plugs and be sure the RX box has the gasket and plenty of silicone grease... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks like that will be a very fun water run! I think that's half the fun of these rigs, putting them in situations that I wouldn't put my regular vehicle in, but still want the experience. Why do you guys not like the water so much? |

I submerge my rigs mostly all the time. no failures so far caused by water. Knock on wood. Only exception the Switch of the mmx (little monster) is not working afterwarts, let it dry and it works again. WD40 on the metal parts and WD40 silicon for the rest keeps all parts happy. That's a little too much water for my blood. I like to have fun with the trucks give them a dirty maybe a little muddy and wet. But I've never had the urge to submerge them completely and any mudd or water. Just because it says it's waterproof I feel like it's not a hundred percent thing. Plus I also work way too hard for my money to take the chance concerning takes me while to ever build up a fund. But maybe one day that story will change you never know

Where i mostly drive there's a little creek and i love it (reason all my electronic is waterproof by default or selfmade) but some times it's deeper than expected Even little puddles can be deeper ..... 20 cm further TREX went diving ....  can't wait to see your vid of the crawl. looks really challenging and like tons of fun Send by my Pixel 2 XL with Tapatalk Last edited by magic_yeti; 02-05-2018 at 02:04 PM. |
