I have to say, their tire-body proportions look pretty spot on, and I also love the paint. Excited to see what some will do with this.

The Product page is up at their website. It’s a RTR, Still no word on a kit.

It looks awesome. Although, those chrome-plated-plastic diff covers are going to look like hell after a single run, and I'm not sure portal axles make much sense on a Ford Bronco.

I have been looking around at 1/10 crawlers, and the SCX10ii kit was at the top of my list, BUT this TRX-4 Bronco will be my next kit for sure. That body is absolutely gorgeous with that 70s 'sunset' paint. I will be watching to see if there are any differences offered in the kit version. I am also curious to know what differences are between the current Defender and Tactical chassis and this new version. It's gonna be a lovely Summer!

Bronco RTR. I think this one is going to be a big seller. I have some red diff covers that will be going on as soon as I order one of these.

I was trying to hold out for the Bronco and got the Defender a month ago... looks like I'm going to have to talk the wife into needing the Bronco.;)

The Bronco has a shorter wheelbase, 313mm.

Does a longer wheelbase make for a better crawler? More stable?

In a way it could be more stable. But with it stretched out, it'll also be a bit easier to beach and get caught up on. Turning circle isn't going to be as small as short wheelbases, so a long wheelbase could struggle more with technical stuff.

I just can't stomach anything Ford related. Do you think the Defender versions will go down in price due to this release? I do have to admit that the paint scheme is nice.

Price going down on the Defender? Highly doubtful and they are both new releases still.

Agreed.

While the Bronco looks great, you don't get the exo-cage, spare tire, or half the scale accessories of the Land Rover version for the same price. If anything, the Land Rover is a better deal in that respect.

If you want to save money, buy the Tactical Unit version, hold out for the kit, or pray for an even cheaper single speed, locked diff version.

Since seeing Traxxas released their lockers, I've been thinking a fully locked version would be coming as well, possibly aiming more are competition than trailing.
