So what are your thoughts on my first build thread? Am I doing ok? For the experienced forum builders and newbie is it easy enough to follow and understand?

Deciding to hold off cutting trx4 floor pans. and processed with building the rear end and get a wire bender to help me with my 3/16th" styeren EVG226 as trail build to see if it will hold up never used styeren before so another adventure to come! in this build. oh link to the wire bender i ordered. i had to order a tool to help make my bends consistent. this should arrive by Wensday at the latest. Wire Bender - Lee Valley Tools

Theres the update. these might slow down for a little while, as i learn how to work the styeren but once i get the hang of it. there will be a post of what ive got brewing.

Then servo it's self 4 screws removed 2.5mm hex.
At this point servo should be free to be flipped from it's area. Enough to move to side sitting on your workbench.

With all that removed fit the tray. Notice a little plastic wire holder in the way. I will simply cut it off to let the tray sit nice and flat sanding maybe required, I used a sanding drum from my Dremel smooth and flush as I can possibly do. Servo has the molded plastic angle cut with hobby knife to flat as possible.

After re-install using stock hardware. Servo horn should be removed. For easier fitment then recenter servo and reattach servo horn. Since I'm going to install the SSD horn I will take this opportunity to do just that.

So was just going over the truck. Noticed I made a mistake when installing the electronics plate. The servo horn was rubbing the cross member. The servo gets install and then the tray and you won't have the rub/binding contact on servo and servo horn. Just a quick thing I noticed and thought it was worth mentioning.

Fake Winch or no winch? I normally never use one so thought I'd reuse parts.
Let me know what you like best in comments below. Going to wait until Wednesday for response and most popular comment of "yes winch" or "no winch" will be what I use for the rest of the build.

Tally votes from RCC 0
Facebook friends Yes winch 20 no winch 2.
Thanks for the input guys when I get the funds I'll add a real Winch to the bumper. For now TRX 4 tactical winch will be used.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope this build will be enjoyed by everyone!

Next time I do a build I will allow for a longer time to vote as I see it wasn't enough time.

Spinning ideas in my mind.
1. Create fuel tank under gap of K-10 Cage add a rear tire. Other details as they arrive.
2. lower cage extended it by using Styeren. Secure it to hard body with a couple screws and nuts.
3.scratch build from blank.
4. Keep brainstorming

Keeping rear tire scarping/not using rest of Vattera K-10 Cage. All progress I made this evening.

Wire bender jig arrived a day late but that's not bad. And 10 1/2" magnets.

You're gonna bend your own Cage??? I'm assuming here....
So, what are you going to use all that Steryenen for? It's looking like you have a definite plan in mind at this point. Looking GOOD!!

I'm scratch building what I can. From this point on. just reusing the K10 spine from my Vaterra K-10 Cage.

Took forever to find "Sneaky Pete" inspiration for TRX 4 build. I was 11 years old when I saw this on Google. Now I'm building my own version, thought I would share a little background to this build.

That's REALLY COOL!! The best story I could come up with about my Wraith, is that it took since 2009 to finally get one!!
....... and only because a good friend BOUGHT her for me.

You're REALLY giving me an inspiration with your Build. I won't copy - but I've got a nearly USELESS HG P402 lying around.... A Semi Cab would be a fantastic comedic topper!!!! A Hardbody might actually give that PLASTIC CHASSIS Rig, some well needed rigidity!!

I think that's awesome that you held on to that memory, and are getting to recreate it!!

Went to dollar store for masking tape so that the windows will be ready. As previous owner has glued this into place I can't remove it. First masking job for me. Pictures coming this evening. also smoke stacks are glued into place as well so I'll see if I can mask the stacks off.
