That guy left you in a bit of a spot.... You'll be fine. Take your time. If you have a sharp razor blade, try to cut the tape around the windows as close to the edges as possible.

I've been told often, a good Paint Job is 90% preparation, 5% persperation, and 5% Paint!!! Make sure that the Body is completely CLEAN. I have no idea how much experience you have, but I believe that you'll do great!

Thanks. For the words of wisdom.
When it comes to painting a hard body like the Bullhead I have only done one other hardbody before. No masking experience but I'm not worried to much about the window it will look original. Most of my paint experience is on Lexan body shell's with a window mask pre-cut. so always willing to learn more. And improve for the future.

Looks like my build will be on hold for a little while. Till I can get a few things sorted out. For the meantime I'll post something when I can. Still need to get those masking pictures up. As my nephew age of 4. will be hear in about a month I'll be focusing on time with him and having the truck running with the tactical body for some adventures. Then resume the building process.

Masked and sanded ready to drill 2 holes for rear cage attachment. Not everything is shown in pictures but you should get the idea. From Stacks and windshield being glued in it was a challenge to say the least. But worth the work.

Haha. We should air ship some snow to you! Canadian weather is much much different.
We get cool in spring, Warm/Hot in summer, fall is brisk, winter is just cold at times.

Depending on what province you are in.

Yeah.... my friend, Chris, lives near Ottawa, my friend Aaron, lives near Calgary, and still has snow on the ground!!!

I HAVE actually seen Snow before.... I lived North of Chicago for about 3 years, grew up in Brooklyn, went to College in Oswego, NY, just South of Buffalo!! THAT place got SNOW!!!

I used to think that moving here, was a GOOD idea.... I know you guys use Celcius, so I'll put it this way - we get days in the Summer OVER 51-53 Degrees!!! We HAVE fried eggs on the sidewalk!

Paint for the Bullhead once the weather settles itself a bit more. Got the can at a Walmart in Canada. Small update.

Was supposed to be main body color but your idea is pretty cool. I'll go see what the local Walmart has in green selection.

so far walmart has produced no look a like greens so ill keep hunting trying different stores till i find a simular green. in mean time ill keep sanding the stacks tricky buggers when you can not remove them from the cab. and now the weather is clearing but family is coming by so wont have much of chance to keep working on the truck. havent located a good winch i like yet with funds being limited. and other life events happen that slowed this build down.

Did anyone See SBG and HD(Harley Designs) youtube live streams to end an amazing 16Weeks of a Honcho budget build off, so Inpiring!!

Found 2 flags little bigger than the Tamiya USA/Stars and Stripes one but not by much for 2$. Zip ties 40 per package got 2 at 7 1/2" long for 1.25$*2 Canadian dollar 4.50$ without taxes. Worth breaking the budget.

Had a really tough run but was fun today. Broke/stripped both diff locker servos and steering. And a few bearings may or may not have died. Was fun now time to fix! I got a really good amount of run time I'm definitely not upset.

Thinking Spools now that I tried the diff locker option.
And finally a Bluetooth module, or DX5C system. (Tired of counting blinking lights)
And my go to savox of choice.

Looks like upgrades for this build are now having to happen.

Great build brotha! Really digging it! I'm looking into building my own rear cage/exo cage in the near future. How's the wire bending working for you? What material are you using? Welding or sweating the cage together? Hope all is well! Looking forward to seeing the Bullhead come to life!
