Ratty-Trucky Truggy build starting today. Hears a different one for you guys! Not a bronco/defender/tactical TRX 4. Not sure that I'll keep the green for now but color will change eventually

Removing the side rear cage and gas tanks and anything else I don't need at the moment. Also test fitting a Vattera K-10 rear cage to see what needs to happen to mount it. Also working out the body mounting. Of this Tamiya Bullhead shell.
As I am Canadian I will look for a new flag and retire the stars and stripes from my truck.

What you are looking at is main fitment issue. With receiver box and ESC on other chassis side. I will try moving it more inwards towards the chassis brace not a big issue but for anyone going to try this it will. For the ESC I will just see if I can do the same for the reciever box.

Quick note for anyone who will or might be attempting something similar on your TRX 4 the Center of gravity will be greatly affected by the weight of a body this heavy. When I get to that stage I'll see what will be a effective way to combat it. I'll start with getting the body to sit low as possible. Small update for this evening.
I'm now considered MIP or yeah Racing 5mm widening kit to help stabilize this truck alittle more if you have any helpful tips for a build like what I'm attempting please feel free to share.

Have a good one guys!

Few more cuts happening this evening. And testing battery clearance. For sure it has to be a softcase LiPo. A hardcase is just to big size. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

Line. Drawn up with a Sharpe as guidelines. Might not get around to cutting it tonight but I'm sure going to try. Roll cage being removed.

Went to local Canadian Tire and Walmart to get these to try out. I'm sure they will work and some hardware just incase I don't have enough.

So for installation of CI electronics Tray remove 7 screws.
Two screws sizes 2.0 and 2.5mm

2 screws from shocks tower that hold body mounts. 2.0 mm Hex

Next the steering link a 2.0 mm Hex. 1 screw removed.

Then servo it's self 4 screws removed 2.5mm hex.
At this point servo should be free to be flipped from it's area. Enough to move to side sitting on your workbench.

With all that removed fit the tray. Notice a little plastic wire holder in the way. I will simply cut it off to let the tray sit nice and flat sanding maybe required, I used a sanding drum from my Dremel smooth and flush as I can possibly do. Servo has the molded plastic angle cut with hobby knife to flat as possible.

After re-install using stock hardware. Servo horn should be removed. For easier fitment then recenter servo and reattach servo horn. Since I'm going to install the SSD horn I will take this opportunity to do just that.

Electronics relocation plate helpful to move stuff forward. Lowered the body alot.
