Default TRX-4 Black Steel Chubs & Portal Covers

We are happy to officially announce our first of many TRX-4 parts...
TRX-4 Black Steel Portal Covers
&
TRX-4 Black Steel CHubs.

Our TRX-4 Black Steel Portal Covers help you add weight down low for a better overall COG.
These covers weigh 71g, fit within the stock footprint and have a great scale appearance.

Our TRX-4 Black Steel C Hubs also help you add weight down low for a better overall COG.
These C Hubs weigh 88g, fit within the stock footprint and also have a great scale appearance.

Stay tuned for more TRX-4 parts in the future and thanks for reading!

Great so we don't have to paint these right? lol

More options are great to see. I might be grabbing those C hubs as I dont like the idea of the brass ones which I hear can get sloppy where the bearings seat.

Are those weights for the pair, or per side??
And, will the portal covers also fit on the rear?

Any plans to offer the front inner portals, rear inner portals and rear axle mounts in steel?

The plan is to make a bunch of items in black steel.

When you say front inner portals, do you mean the actual knuckle portion?
We are already on prototyping that.
I'd expect it to be the next major part we release for the TRX4.
(Once we are done withe the front we will move on to the rear.)

Axle mounts... do you mean the link mounts?
If so, yes.

Are the weights advertised as a pair or each piece?

You won't be disappointed! I also went ahead and got the c-hubs after initially ordering just the portal covers. My TRX4 handles/ feels obviously more stable. Machining and fit is impeccable on these products.

@ LURC Steel differential covers, please!

I think Traxxas calls it a rear axle portal mount, Traxxas part #8256.

Is the stock castor angle retained with your steel chubs?

Your returning customer from Malaysia. Wish your products are available in Amain Hobbies( their International Mail is the cheapest) or wish you could offer First Class Mail International. I was thinking to reorder something from you again the the postage holding me back.

I ordered a set of these black steel chubs and knuckles right after my post above. Resulted in an additional 6oz on the front axle. Running the stock plastic portal covers, so all the added weight is either ON the axle housing or as close to the kingpin pivot as possible so the servo can put all the power to turning the wheels vs added weight hanging way out past the kingpins.

Any word link mounts, rear hub carriers, and rear inner portal covers? I'd rather have a matching set, like Samix offers, but your steel is preferred over brass.

Nothing at the moment.
We were wiped out on the covers and had to make another batch of them.

Hoping to get some of these things going in Q1 2020!
