I'd like to think the same thing, but afraid they will look too small. The stock tire is 4.6 tall. The standard RB are 4.35 tall. I'd like to see the standard RB on it though. I'll have to try that when I get home.

They would be way too small for my liking.

I’ve had mine since last August and the out of the box performance was impressive, I’ve since installed brass portal covers, ottsix KLRs, trimmed some weight off the body by removing most of the add on’s And made a low CG battery tray - it’s significantly better and those where pretty much nothing mods.... I suspect that traxxas had a really good chassis/suspension engineer working on this one, the geometry seems to really keep the axles well planted and digging the tires into the ground.

Damn traxxas for coming out with a Ford body option, I’m a major ford guy so i’ll Have to buy a second one now!

I'm making my own low profile battery tray. How did you make yours? Or did you just mod the stock tray?

Traxxas has great engineers. That's what a lot of people don't understand. The Revo, for example, was ground breaking when it came out. Traxxas has the money and the people to R&D awesome new products. They just don't release new models often.

Agreed. When Traxxas first came on the hobby scene I used to think they were a low grade entry level brand ( mainly because I have always custom built everything and the idea of a RTR truck was downright offensive to me LOL). But then I bought a Summit and that changed everything. IMO, the Summit is still the best monster type truck on the market and the TRX-4 has adopted a lot of the drive train technology from it.

I have a set of Pit Bull Rock Beast XOR which are 4.55 diameter that I plan to fit on my Bronco when I finally purchase one.

The height on those will be fine, but way too wide for my liking.

I have them mounted and I could put them on my Bronco just to show how they fit.

I’m away on vacation for the next 10 days, so I can’t post a picture but what I did was cut the bottom of the tray out, I fab’d an angled tray that bolted to the existing frame that was left, it’s specifically built to accept a small shorty pack Lipo 2s/3s . The pack will be lowest on the front of the tray and goes up slightly towards the rear as to not affect suspension play. I more or less modeled it like a few of the others I saw on here.

I haven't seen any other trays, but yours sounds similar to what mine will end up being.

Jato the bronco is looking SWEET man!

and i never realized GCM makes a 1.9 beadlock that looks so close to those wheels. i love the stock traxxas ones, and wondering how a set of rc4wd dirt grabbers would look mounted up to them...

i cant wait to see what you do next on this bronco! traxxas knocked this body out of the park!

Look up the tray on page 10 of Sammyha’s thread on here, can’t figure out how to link from my iPad, plus I’m tired from being 6 time zones away from home lol!

Finally got around to this. These are standard RB on Vanquish Method 105's on my Bronco compared to the stockers. Not bad, but just a touch small in my opinion. The stockers just fill the wheel well much better. Again, just my opinion.

Not meaning to hijack your thread Jato, just know that this was a topic here before.

I think the standard RBs look just as good. I think you can play with ride height just a tad and make them look even better.

They're not chrome. Just odd lighting effect. They're still black. Dirty, but black!

The OG Rock Beasts look much better than I expected. I'd have to lower the body to make it look "right" in my opinion, but I don't want to do that for performance reasons.

Yeah couldn't pass up a deal considering you normally can't use coupons on Traxxas items.

Where did you find a place that would allow you to use coupons?
