I bought an interior from eBay for this truck. It seems to be a generic, Chinese part that is being repackaged and sold by multiple outlets. It's simple, but I'm not a scale snow so it will do the trick for me. Here's what I used to decide on interior colors. So, step 1. Let's paint her red! I will caution that this does not have a paint mask. I just assumed it did, but it turns out I was incorrect. Because of this, I didn't back the interior with black. If you have an interior you also need a driver, right? Right! So I used this redneck with a paycheck looking dude. He's some WWF (the WWE will always be the WWF to me) wrestler that I got at Walmart on clearance for $5 a year or two ago. After some minor (I'd call if major if you were cutting off my freaking legs!) he sits like this. He was too tall for my liking, but without his groin area he was way too short. So what does an aspiring 3D printer / RCer do? You design and print a new groin. I decided, due to the lack of depth in the interior, that he didn't need boots. If he doesn't need boots he doesn't need thighs. He is going to be able to skip leg day forever now, bro! Here's the new groin. Here's the redneck with a paycheck AKA white trash with cash on his throne. He's still a little tall, but oh well. Good enough for me! I'll just assume he's a 7 feet tall mountain of a man. While we have it outside, let's get some more photos of the lights. Ohhh. Ahhh. So pretty! OK, so maybe they're not pretty, but they are frickin' cool! I just love the old school, incandescent bulb look to the headlight LEDs. I will say these photos made me realize the body isn't sitting quite right for some reason. I'll have to look into that. While I was out getting the photos of the driver I decided to give it a short run in the cold. It kept dragging the hitch on the stump crawl. This happened out on the trails and I had forgot about it. Time to de-hitch this truck. Here's what it looks like from the Traxxas factory. And a back view because baby got back. I removed the black mount from the chrome bumper and then used a Dremel to cut off the lower portion. You remove around 3/4" which is a significant amount of plastic to get hung up on. This few minute mod will really have a noticeable improvement on the trail. |

I forgot to take photos of the steering column, shifter, and dash decals installed. The steering column is way too thin, the steering wheel looks like an aftermarket unit and nothing like the stock Ford wheel, and the dash decal is undersized. The radio portion of the decal fits into the space for the gauge cluster when, in reality, the radio is in the center of the dash. Gotta love China. This will drive scale snobs bat shit crazy. I just went with the punches. I almost designed a Ford steering wheel and column, but decided it wasn't worth the effort. I = lazy. | |

| Re: Jato Got a Bronco I've been on a hunt as far as covering up the chassis goes. After seeing how nice it looked on the Hobao DC1 (they're included), I've been looking to do the same on all the trucks. Finished covering up the SCX10.2, now onto the others.

| Re: Jato Got a Bronco Yeah as long as it's got something that resembles a interior I'm happy, it doesn't have to be exactly scale for me.
