Just FYI, the rear diff lock cable is about 1" longer than the front so I would think you could install a rear cable up front and it might solve your cable problem.

That is true...it would work fine, but then you have to buy it. My mod worked alright, but the abs glue didn't hold. I ended up using epoxy the second time around and once it was glued, drilled a longer pilot hole through the plastic and the epoxy. It should hold now.

So I had to change gears on the bumper. Time is slipping away. I decided to oick it up later when I can get it perfect. So I went with a big ugly tube one instead. I also fabbed up a windshield visor out of styrene.

With 110 shocks, the front diff cable is too short, so I hacked a chunk off and dropped it. I glued it with ABS glue. We’ll see if it holds. Otherwise I’ll fab something else up. I also addressed the bs micro servo problem and put a full size servo in. Fixed!

Next up is figuring out the 4 channel locking situation and the aux wire for the mamba x.
Awesome job so far. That is a killer color scheme and perfect choice on the tire/wheel combo.

I had the same question for the Mamba X Aux wire and the below video and thread answered my question. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the vid...I forgot to post up...that's exactly what I did. The only other thing I did was get a t-lock setup for the diff lockers. I didn't install it though. I skipped the rear locker and just used channel 4 and set new endpoints for the front locker. I figure all my other trucks have locked rear, and this has over under drive gears, so locked front will give me plenty of pull when it's engaged.

Finished bumper two, made a scale cb antenna out of a pen spring, body mount, airplane pushrod and some shrink wrap! Looks the part I think. Got the bumper all glued, sanded and painted and mounted magnets to secure the body instead of the body clips.

Looks like a beast. What are the black wheels you have mounted in the black/red body photo?
