If you are using VP SLW hubs you need to use these SSD hexes.

Thanks, Inspector. I've got some 4-40 acorns that I wanna use on my SSD slots and fortunately I've already got those SSD hexes too so looks like all I need is the VP SLW hubs. Going to get a set of the VP's in .225 or .350.

I'm really liking the the Holmes Hobbies Revolver 1800kV motor and Mamba X ESC that I'm using in my Gmade BOM, but this motor would be better suited in a 2 speed rig such as my TRX4 Bronco! So I swapped everything out and now this motor is performing even better, especially in low gear; the resolution / slow speed control is incredible. I'm using a 9T pinion and therefore top end wheel-speed isn't very spectacular and this is where the high gear really lets this motor enjoy the best of both worlds. I've read the new Castle Creations Sidewinder 4 ESC is a perfect match for this brushless motor and that's what I'm using in the Bronco. I had to add an external BEC since the SW4's internal BEC is only rated for 5 volts.

I'm looking forward to getting this rig back out for a good rock crawling session.

I really like the way you laid out your wiring. I'm going to move my BEC up where you have yours mounted. Very clean!

Thanxs Inspector86....I can't stand a snake pit of wiring! I will eventually replace the BEC with a CC BEC v2 WP if it ever dies.

The Bronco crawls pretty darned good, but nowhere near the performance of my other rigs and I can live with that, I really like this rig.
