Default Steering servo draws .74 amp trying to center at idle

Steering servo draws .74 amp trying to center..move the trans wheel back and forth and servo quiets down and settles at .14 amp. The oem 2075x servo qiut and traxxas is sending another. We run these vehicles outside in the cold and operate transmitter inside where it is warm so i can't tell if the servo has settled. My fear is replacement servo may suffer as well.
A substitute analog futaba s3003 does the same thing..its almost like the transmitter steering signal to sensitive..i dunno

The stock steering servo is pretty weak. Have you setup your endpoints?
