The inner fender wells stay with the chassis rather than the body. The center of gravity is better with the lighter shell. It's an awesome RTR that is at home on the crawler course and a blast in the back yard thanks to the 2-speed trans. The guys crawling them up at the LHS are very competitive with the bronco. Whats really cool is that it excels in areas of the course where my ascender struggles, but struggles where the ascender thrives. Congrats on the new rig!

Which winch bumper is that? It looks pretty good and it appears to be wider than some of the ones Ive been looking at. Got any full side pics with new bumper on?

Hang in there, man. The truck itself is a solid platform, you're just having issues with the stock RTR elecs. RTR elecs have come a LONG way in the last 10 years, but most folks seem to upgrade their elecs right away and either sell or repurpose the stock elecs.

Did your ESC over heat? Mine was overheating the other day and wouldn't go in to reverse until I let it cool down a few minutes. I put a fan on it, but it shouldn't be over heating that easy.

Novak used to make Traxxas ESCs. No more I guess.

Looks great. Sorry I missed it today. Was it windy there? I got home and half of the stuff in my yard was blown all over the place.
