I'm jelly, lol. So my big question is does the spare tire cover actually fit over a tire, or will I have to sacrifice a spare for the look?

Would you mind measuring the diameter and depth of the cover? I wonder if it looks true to scale for the stock tires

I took some pictures. I will measure it tomorrow.
But the cover seems just a bit to small to fit over a wheel and tire.
There is a metal shaft and wheel nut behind the cover though so you could mount a wheel and tire directly.

I was a little disappointed with the Traxxas light kit for the Defender. The rock lights and light bar are great, but the kit needed some back-up lights. I just finished installing the MyTrickRC kit on my Bronco and so far, everything works great. The headlights sure are bright. I had to drill a couple holes for the headlight led's and the only printed part is the led holder for the front clearance lights.

Hey guys,

Where are you guys getting your Traxxas-brand TRX-4 parts, such as the chrome push bar (8066) and the spare tire mount (8074)?

I was surprised that RPP doesn't offer them on their site yet, and that AMain only has the spare tire mount. Are you guys ordering just through Traxxas direct for now?

I ordered my pushbar and metal servo horn directly from the Traxxas website. I got my parts in less than a week.

I also went thru Traxxas Direct for the spare/ carrier and push-bar. Also picked up an extra Bronco front bumper that I couldn't find anywhere else.

Hi Don, would you be so kind to post the dimensions and the weight of the spare case? I'm considering the option of replacing the Defender spare tire with this one, if it's significantly lighter,

I googled this thread looking for answer to your question. Think this info should be here.
TRX-4 Bronco spare size as I measured 111mm by 38mm which is just under 4.4" X 1.5". A bit smaller than typical 4.6" wheel.
