Default Bronco on 1.55 wheels

RC4WD oem 1.55 wheels with Pitbull Rock Beasts. I drilled out the wheels to fit over the axles. It looks funny but I wanted to try it out. I DO NOT recomend this wheel/tire combination. Pain in the ass to mount the tires on these wheels. They arent mounted evenly at all.

I'm mostly stock except for a Savox 1230SG servo for steering, a Castle BEC for the servo. I have a 9 tooth pinion and an aluminium motor mount. I also have a Bowhouse low CG battery tray but I tend to use the two batteries I have that fit in the space up front. Oh and an SSD servo horn that I ground down so it wouldn't hit anything as the suspension moves. I also dremeled the Bowhouse battery tray a little where the rear top links were hitting it.

I glued the bottom spring cups and backed off the top part all the way to lower it. No, thats not the battery I run in the Trx-4, it was just handy.

Looks cool. The wheelwells seem wide from the side but really nice.

I mocked up GearHead Krusher 1.55’s and they barely hit the portal cover. With the MIP +4mm they would have cleared no problem. Unfortunately I sold them off but I really wanted to run a set of Growlers

The Growlers would look better too. They are a little bigger.

Man,

I tried for the life of me to get my 1.55 RC4WD wagon wheels to mount up with my Rock Beasts. Kept blowing out the bead on the backside. Damn RC4WD for making unfriendly wheels for non RC4WD tires. LOL..

Then, you had success, lol, what did ya do?

Truck looks great BTW. I am going to a smaller tire size as well on my rig. Not a fan of the full monster truck mud bogger look.

lol yeah I couldn’t mount the RC4WD wagon wheels on the stock canion trails either
Tried for hrs! Foam, no foam , supporting rim on back side etc etc.
I want to try hyrax’s but... it’s worse than in really life installing new tires by hand!

Hijack as much as you want. Also i did not have success mounting the rubber. I kinda got it to work. First i cut away about a quarter inch from inside the foams. Then i super glued the rear part. Like the rim to the tire. I let that dry for like 15 minutes. Only then did i get the bead to not pop out. Doesnt look pretty on the backside. I also vented the tires.
When i get home i might try something else. I have some ideas. Also i spent about 4 hours trying to mount one tire before i gave up from frustration and used CA (super glue).
