Since long 2mm screws are hard to find, The OW of the jack is 5.3mm so you could do a 2.5 or 3mm no problem.

After seeing CMBSCX10's picture I decided to change it up since I had it sitting in the parts bin never gave it a thought but I really like the look better over the plastic version

Are you mounting electrical contacts onto the body posts? That looks super clean and convenient

yes I am thanks for noticing

I am going to shoe goo the tabs to body when everything comes together the lights will be on the body clip will keep everything together.

it takes a little time to run all the wires but in the end its worth it

Awesome work so far. New jack and placement are perfect.

That's a pretty cool idea on the light contact trick. Look forward to seeing how that works out.

It should work perfectly no wires tied to chassis and body just lift off the body lights off drop body on lights on simple clean

Up next is the rear tail light lenses. They are the Knights Customs parts from RPP Hobby. I think they look much better than the junk decals. You can cut the body and fit them in or Shoe goo to the outside. I am just going to Shoe goo to the outside of the body. I will have a small lip around them where they come in contact with the body but I can live with it.

Been busy the past few days and almost forgot about the wheels that got swapped out. I really like the look of them plus they were dirt cheap. Figured I would give them a try.

Thanks I like taking my time and having fun with the build
Kitty was mad we weren't going for a walk so he just sat there and pouts. If he sees a truck out he knows we are going walking and likes to tag along
