I am sure I missed some stuff when I was doing this build if you get stuck just message me and I will try to go from my poor memory to see what I did. I fortunately do not have the truck anymore or the body.

No roof rack is best. If you must, then plastic.

I found this roof rack

but I think this one is steel

what is best a plastic or steel roof rack?

Here’s the front bumper I went with

The rear bumper was the Axial rear bumper for the XJ. In all honesty I was not impressed by it as it liked to get hung up on things but it looked good.

The roof rack was from Axial for the XJ. I would avoid the metal racks. If you have no plans of doing comps then go with the roof rack. I had no issues with the minimal extra weight up on the roof. Hell I even added a light bar.

I found some tail light buckets for this axial body and I will have to dig back to your post were you got the tail light lenses to get those.
I figured if I am going to do this I should do it right! Right?

I got this for a rear bumper
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and this for a front bumper
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I did get the top rack from Axial for this CK SOOO?? Oh well

been having problem with the asshole across the street hacking my internet system and pc so we lost internet service because of this asshole

Hey Bill glad to see you back that is a bummer about your neighbor. Those look like nice bumpers. As for lights I wired in my own LEDs. I just picked up individual ones from my LHS and wired them up.

As for the the rear taillights lens I wasn’t happy with with the way the Knight Customs turned out. The design and printing were very good it was just the overall look of them that turned me off from them. That’s why I went with the RC4WD ones. They turned out nice but found a simpler way after I had cut and installed the RC4WD ones. If I were going to do it again I would go with the other idea that I seen.

The Axial roof rack for the XJ should fit perfectly and give it that look you are looking for

what idea was that?

as for led lights I do not any place around here that stocks that stuff
so I am stuck to what I can find online so I am flying blind as to what to get.
I do not wish to be a copy cat but different.
Hey Bill if go back to page 5 on my thread a little ways down you will notice some actual XJ rear tail lights. Also you will see that the last picture has some Axial light buckets. If I were going to do it again I would use the light buckets and mimic one of the styles in the pictures or do my own version. It would be a cleaner look plus less cutting of the body.

Tha sucks that your LHS doesn’t carry individual LED’s. Whenever I stop at mine I always make sure to grab some. You never know what projects you are going to start so I like to have them on hand.

If you have any more questions please keep asking away.

Those are the same ones that I had in the black with round lights. I don’t remember if they had the 3 colored lens version when I got mine. They were easy to install. I chose not to use the included screws. I chose to just shoo goo them in place. Also I would be surprised if the lens came in red amber and clear I would bet they are all clear. I could be wrong about that though.

Thank you! The Injora comes with the rubber flares, the scale bolts they're attached with are RC4WD. Im pretty sure the Xtra Speed and Team Raffee Co. come with them as well, but I can't confirm.
