My cheap Unimog body and platform build Hello because i am unsatisfied with the stock "angle to the slope" abillity i want a lower gravity point. And i also want more room for the scale recovery stuff ,the only way a near cab over body must fit.I prefer the Unimog body from Tamiya (used). All other body parts are self homebuild . I make a tread in a German crawler Forum but there also many pictures from the build. If you have question i try to answer. http://rccrawler.eu/forum/index.php?...jekt/&pageNo=1 |

Re: My cheap Unimog body and platform build Ok third stearing servo broke (first 20kg blue i bought) maybe the brass weight from J.T. are to heavy for a 20kg ,now i try a 23kg . Change all mini Servos to New Power XL-9 and modified to a bigger spline with a easy trick.drill a whole in the old servo spline push it up side down on the tiny XL 9 spline and cut the spline from the old servo, than filled up with Marine grease for waterproofness and it works with no "brrrmmm" servo noise. |
