| Traxxas metal servo horn
Just to let everyone know, it's available now TRX4 8247X and it's $6.00 I just got mine today. Same shape and profile as the plastic one and is 22mm c to c. Not sure if they will offer anything other than 25t spline ? |

I wish they had gone just a little further and made it a clamping servo horn. Much more reliable. :-)

wow, reasonably priced at $6. Of course, would have been a tad more reasonable to include a metal servo horn on a truck that cost nearly $500, but that's just silly talk. |

All this talk about this servo horn, I just had to go pick me up one, make that two for the price it was. Doest hurt to have a back up one. So now the stock plastic on can go in my spare parts box as a back up to the back up upgraded one lol Sent from my SM-J727T using Tapatalk |

If you choose to use the stock steering servo as a shift servo, I think the plastic one shouldn't run much risk of stripping. Could be used in that application.

I ordered mine and I'm awaiting delivery. It took Traxxas two days from the day I order to the day they shipped it. That's absolutely crazy when any other RC company can do it same day. I'm glad it's 25T. All servos should be 25T. |

I'm running a Samix horn with a Protek 370BL servo. No clearance issues @ all. I can post pics if someone wants to let me know where to host images as photobucket is now crap... |
