There are a number of aftermarket light bar kits that come with multiple mounting brackets for different locations. Proline and GearHead each make 12v setups in different lengths.

| Re: Bronco lights Those were all the rage in the 80's. It would defiantly be a cool accessary. Only down fall I can see is that after a few roll overs and tumbles down hills and rocks it would be thrashed :( Otherwise for somebody that wants to keep the body as close to pristine as possible and just trail it, it'd be super cool ! Without having ever worked with styrene or fiberglass, only way I could think of doing it would be using one led buried in the styrene visor. Then run strands of Amber fiber optic wire from the led to the spots where the lights should be.

(sigh) All these pics of mean 1:1 Bronco's are making me want a TRX-4. Not yet, but perhaps to be added to the small collection by the end of the year..... And a visor is a great idea! I'm sure someone will put one up on the ol' ShapeWays sooner or later. |
